Haunted Science Lab

On Saturday October 26th, the BASH Science Department hosted a Haunted Science Lab. Each of the science rooms had a different theme, such as chemistry or physics, and was filled with various experiments and demonstrations. These ranged from fire-breathing pumpkins to even exploding gummy bears.
The lab was geared toward children and other people from the community. Student volunteers and teachers helped guide the kids through the experiments and explained the science behind them. A few of the science teachers appeared in costume and the students all wore their special Haunted Science Lab tie-dye t-shirts. AP Chemistry students also demonstrated experiments they had individually designed.
While the lab’s main focus was to raise money to put toward senior science scholarships, the many volunteers and teachers did their best to teach kids a thing or two about creepy science.
