Come join the fun during Boyertown’s annual carnival or as people know it as, “Fun Days,” taking place from Thursday, May 28th, through Saturday, May 30th at the Boyertown Community Park.
Boyertown Fun Days has been a community tradition for 42 years, having started in 1984. Multiple reports from the Reading Eagle and The Boyertown Area Expression have issued that 1984 was the official inaugural year, even though local records at Boro Hall indicate it has been an “official thing” during the mid 1980s.
Event times for Fun Days are Thursday: 6:00pm – 10:00pm, Friday: 6:00pm – 10:00pm, and Saturday 1:00pm – 10:00pm. There will not be any events on Sunday.
Boyertown fundays are open to the public and allow community members to walk around freely. If planning on riding some rides or playing carnival games there is a ticket stand in the entrance where people can purchase tickets.
If community members plan on going to this event there will be a plethora of activities that include: rides, games, pig races, and live music. Many people are interested in watching the pigs race and it has been a tradition toward the event for over 30 years.
The pig races are provided by Rosaire’s Royal Racers which is a Florida based family that has been bringing their racing pigs to Fun Day’s ever since.
The pig races feature different breeds of pigs racing in several heats to see who can reach the “cream filled cookie” at the end of the finish line first.

On Friday, May 29, The Directors Big Band will be performing in the Spatz Pavilion from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.. They specialize in swing and big band classics and will be kicking off the weekend’s music.
Saturday, May 30, the Boyertown Alumni Marching Unit is scheduled to perform at the pavilion at 2:00 p.m..
Bigg Romeo is a high-energy party band that will also be performing 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.. Unlike other bands they will be performing at the basketball courts to provide a lively atmosphere.
Also taking place Saturday, May 30, there will be a firework show to serve as a grand finale for Boyertown’s Fun Days and are scheduled to light up the sky at 9:45 p.m.. Spectators typically gather in the main fields of Boyertown Community Park.
The firework show is always a hit and even if weather does not oblique spectators often sit in their car and view this light show from anywhere in town, as it brightens up the town of Boyertown.
Hadleigh Breiner, a ninth grade student at BASH, stated, “I have been going to Fun Days every year since I was little and the firework display has always been my favorite part.”
Keep the tradition alive, gather friends, and have a blast when coming and visiting the 2026 Boyertown Fun Days, at the end of this month.
