Prom season’s coming up, and that means a whole list of new deadlines, such as guest passes, obligations, and fees, are all due by March 12th, 2026.
Guest Passes
Guest passes must be filled out for anyone who is not a senior here at BASH. That includes the underclassmen of BASH. The guest forms can be found outside of room 102 or in the main office if one is still needed. Remember, when bringing a guest, you must sit with them during the event! They are your date.
All guests must be approved prior to the purchase of any tickets, as there will be no refunds for denied guests. During the event, guests must be seated with and accompanied by the BASH student at all times. Guests over the age of 20 on the day of prom will not be allowed or approved.
Obligations
All obligations, meaning detentions and financial fees, must be cleared by March 12th, 2026, at 2:45 PM, to be permitted to attend this year’s prom. This goes for everyone, even underclassmen who may be attending as a guest. Check the obligations section of Infinite Campus to ensure that all obligations are cleared, and contact Mrs. Cornes with any questions or concerns.
Registration
Prom registration will take place on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026, in the NAUD, from 7:20-8:50 AM. Anyone planning to attend should arrive at registration, bringing 90$ for the ticket, along with their BASH School ID and guest pass. If bringing a BASH underclassman, they must also attend registration.
On the day of registration, students must form a line in the lobby of the NAUD. Any groups of students registering as a table of 10 should go to the front of the line, leaving the groups of fewer people further back. All tables will have 10 people, so if students are unable to form a group of 10 in line, they will randomly be placed at a table with other students.
When entering the auditorium, students in a group will all enter and register together in order to be seated together on prom night. Every guest must pay $90; however, there will be no ‘tickets’. IDs will be scanned to register guests for the event. After registering, students are to exit the auditorium from the doors to the right of the stage.
ALL students planning to attend, even those in AM BCTC or AM Internship, are expected to be present in the registration line. If this is the case, tell an adult at the line, and it will be ensured that their group moves through the line quickly to allow the student to be on time or catch the bus.
Regulations and Expectations
While this event is meant to be fun for all attendees, there are some rules that all guests must follow.
All students must bring their BASH ID to prom, and any guests should bring their government-issued ID. The approved guest’s valid school ID or State ID must be presented for admission.
Prom is still a school function, meaning proper behavior is expected from all attendees. Meaning no smoking or vaping will be permitted. Following these rules, alcoholic beverages and controlled substances are forbidden for all people attending.
Any student or guest suspected of being under the influence will be denied admission or removed from the event and will be turned over to local police. Parents will be notified if any student is denied admission or asked to leave the event.
Once a student leaves prom, they are not permitted to return. All seniors and guests must sign out of the event when leaving and call their parents or guardians. Students must bring all belongings from their car upon arrival, and exiting to the parking lot will not be allowed.
Only those registered for the prom will be allowed into the ballroom. No tickets are needed for the event, only a school ID.
If a student wants to participate in the promenade, they must arrive between 5:15 and 5:45 PM, as the promenade will begin at 5:45 PM. Doors will open at 6:00 PM for students not participating in the promenade. Dinner will begin at about 7 PM, and dancing will begin following the promenade until 10:00 P.M.
Prom Night
Plan to arrive at the SunnyBrook Ballroom promptly at 6:00 PM, on May 1st, 2026.
This will be a formal event, meaning that all people in attendance are expected to be dressed accordingly. Gowns, cocktail dresses, tuxedos, or suits are expected. No jeans will be permitted. The promenade is televised, and all students attending represent BASH.
The event will have a very filling and full menu for students, consisting of the following: Sides: Caesar Salad, Vegetable du jour, Warm Rolls, and Butter (Complementary side)
Entrées: Bistro Filet, Chicken Française, Penne Pasta
Dessert: Cookies and Brownies.
If there are any further questions, please make sure to contact Mrs. Cornes, Mrs. Benning, or any senior class officers.
