The BASH Senior Class Disney World Trip is only a couple of weeks away, and the time is approaching very rapidly. With much important information to digest, here’s a basic breakdown of what to expect in the coming weeks.
There will be a meeting on February 19th in the morning to discuss many topics regarding the trip. Some of these topics include food, identification, airport expectations, health information, and much more. You need to download apps on your phone, including the MyDisneyExperienceApp and the Universal Orlando Resort App. Also, it is mandatory to add the nurse’s contact to your phone in case of any medical emergency during the trip.
Everybody in the meeting is required to bring a trip ID, a laptop, and a cell phone. A trip ID is required in order to receive a park pass. A laptop is required so that every student can create a My Disney Experience account using their laptop and personal email. A cell phone is required to show proof of the REMIND app and proof of the nurse’s contact.
After the meeting, students should research the resort and plan out what they and their friends will do each day. Also, everyone should pack their essentials and bring whatever they need. Water will be provided at the hotel rooms, with a 40-pack of water to be divided evenly among the four roommates.
That following Tuesday, February 24th, will be the day where everyone will be heading to Orlando! Students should arrive early in the morning to the school, and buses will be transporting everyone to the airport.
That should be all of the information you need to know for the trip. Make sure you and your group attend the meeting on the 19th, and if there are any other questions, ask our Senior adviser, Mrs. Benning.
