The holiday season at BASH is set to be action packed and filled with many events for students.
Starting on Thursday, October 30th the second quarter will begin, with this brings a new slate to grades as well as more assignments for students to complete. Freshmen and Sophomores should remember to have their SmartFutures done and Juniors should be planning or already have planned their job shadows. These are required to graduate.
On Tuesday, November 11th students will have the day off for a professional learning day & Veterans Day.
After Saturday November 15th dual enrollment registration will be over. If you wish to sign up for these courses its recommended to do it before the due date.
During the week of November 24th to the 26th, students will be operating on a half day schedule, then starting on Thursday, November 27th to the 1st of December students will be off for Thanksgiving break.
Students will again have off on Monday December 1st while the district offices will remain open.
During the week leading up to Live Day Wish Week will be taking place. During Wish Week, students will receive their wishes. These can range from snacks and treats during lunch, to ice cream you receive during class.
Students who want to participate in wish week should check their emails during the second quarter to make sure they don’t miss the deadline. Wishes must be local to the area and school appropriate.
Starting on December 2nd BASH will begin allowing students to sign up for this years’ annual Live Day. Live Day is a day where students at BASH are able to show their talents live. Students who can sing and or play an instrument are encouraged to sign up. If you wish to sign up you must go to Mr. Cherkasky’s room in the 800s.
On December 23rd Live Day will be taking place. This tradition at BASH happens every year and is always a highlight of the school year for many students. During the day, BASH TV news plays the entire day featuring several performances from students and staff. This day will also be an early dismissal day.
Winter break runs from the 24th of December to the 4th of January.
