Bash Color Guard heading to Bethlehem for their first ever WGI Regional.

The Bash Colorguard has become more than just a part of the marching band in the past few years, becoming Silver Medalists last year at the MAIN (Mid-Atlantic Indoor Network) Championships with their show Night Witch.

Their show this year entitled Dancing On My Own is a classic Cinderella retelling done to the song Dancing On My Own by Robyn. The show includes a flag, dance, rifle, and saber line.

This year for the first time ever the Bash Color Guard will be going to the WGI Bethlehem Regional.

WGI is the world’s premier organization producing indoor color guard, percussion, and winds competitions. WGI also serves as the governing body for indoor color guard, percussion, and wind activities. It is called the Sport of the Arts because it brings music to life through performance in a competitive format.

There were more than 40,000 participants at the regional level, and more than 12,000 participants at the Sport of the Arts World Championships.

This year the WGI Regional will be at Liberty High School in Bethlehem PA, on March 18 and 19. Bash will perform in the Prelims at 3 pm on Saturday the 18th against 25 other groups. Out of 26 groups, 12 will make it through to finals and perform again on Sunday.

It will be $15 to get in on Saturday and $22 to get in on Sunday, and $28 to get a pass for both days. If you are unable to attend but still want to watch the color guard perform the entire event will be streamed on FLO MARCH, or you can come out to the Bash Color Guard Homeshow on March 25.
