Unfortunately, this year the senior class trip is cancelled due to covid. However, the travel company (World Class Vacations) is providing packages for the families of seniors to take their own vacation during the days the original trip was planned- March 9 through March 13, 2021. Students will still need to comply with the travel regulations set in place. This means you must have either a negative COVID-19 test after returning, quarantine for 14 days after returning, or both. More info on these guidelines can be found on here or visit the CDC site.

So, if you decide to go, what’s in store? The trip is to Disney’s All-Star Movies and Resort in Orlando, Florida. There must be at least one parent or guardian per room, and prices are based off occupancy. A double room is priced at $1749, a triple $1649, and a quad $1599. Pricing includes round trip airfare (one checked bag per person), four nights at the hotel, two day three park Universal Orlando admission, three day park hopping youth pass, $135 Disney dining card, $40 Universal dining card, one 8″ by 10″ group photo per percipient, and road trip transfers between the hotel and Universal Orlando on two days.

It’s your choice whether or not to go on this trip. Some think it’ll be a fun experience, while some seniors feel like it’s not worth taking all the necessary covid precautions. It all depends on the person and their family. Regardless of what you decide to do, try and make the best out of this crazy situation!
