Boys Basketball Wins Big on Senior Night
The Bears (2-7 PAC, 8-12) defeated Springford on senior night behind the leadership of senior Jerry Kapp.
Senior night is the final home game of the season and recognizes the seniors for their contributions to the program. The seniors were Kapp, Benning, Marcus Thomas, Kevin O’Connor, Sean Tamasistis, and Darryl Carver. Kapp set many records throughout his high score career and plans to continue planning basketball in college.
Kapp scored 29 points with a final score of 64-53. Senior Zach Benning contributed to the victory by scoring 12 points for the Bears.
The Bears outscored the rams 17-6 in the third quarter to take the lead. They scored 23 points in the final quarter to solidify the win.
This win highlights the season as the Bears experienced disappointment following close loses to PAC teams Owen J. Roberts and Methacton and conference teams North Penn and and Penn Wood.
