Editor in Chief Cheyenne Williams, working on one of her final stories for The Cub

As 2022 comes to a close, we are sad to say goodbye to our Editor in Chief, Cheyenne Williams. Cheyenne has been writing for the Cub for three years, and says she has gained a lot from the experience- “I have gained a lot of close friends and a lot of writing experience, especially setting up and writing in APA format, which is what newspapers use.” She says her favorite part of the Cub was the people she met and became friends with, and she is sad to say goodbye.

However, Cheyenne has exciting plans for next year; she will be attending DeSales University in the fall, and is planning to major in Communications. Cheyenne has aspirations to be a journalist, and this is the first big step to her achieving this goal.

In addition to writing for the Cub, Cheyenne was apart of NHS here at BASH, and involved with twirling and her local fire department outside of school. She also had the opportunity to participate in an internship with the Pottstown Mercury this past year, which she says she gained a lot of experience from. You can check out some of the articles she wrote on the Mercury website!

Although we are sad to see such an amazing writer go, we are sure Cheyenne will accomplish great things in the future.
