Most memorable looks from this years Met Gala

For the past seventy-six years, the Met Galas produced some of the most memorable and astonishing celebrity fashion moments. This years theme of “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” certainly did not disappoint. The night included many A-list celebrities that paid homage to “the garden of time” dress code.

Zendaya took the red carpet by storm with her two striking outfits that included a custom Margiela look and a vintage Givenchy dress from the house’s spring 1996 collection. Jennifer Lopez attended in her sparkling Schiaparelli dress; while Bad Bunny wore a Margiela suit and Chris Hemsworth with a sleek Tom Ford suit.

Floral print seemed to be the breakout look of the night. Celebrities transformed high-fashion bouquets in a variety of ways. Nicki Minaj in a Marni dress covered in hand-painted metal flowers, and Gigi Hadid in a Thom Browne three-dimensional floral ballgown. Adwoah Aboah had the best maternity moment in a red floral H&M look that included a crop top and full skirt.

Some unexpected moments shined too, proving that some of the best dressed celebrities weren’t in florals. Lana Del Rey, for one, wore a veiled Alexander McQueen look with an antlered headpiece; a thoughtful homage to the late designer’s fall 2006 collection.

As for best dressed men, some included Josh O’Connor in Loewe, Morgan Spector in Willy Chaverria, and Stefon Diggs in H&M. All gentlemen shined in their sophisticated and dapper looks.

Some of the top designer worn for the night included Tommy Hilfiger, creating the most initial media buzz at the red carpet, with collaboration with K-pop group Stray Kids led the branch to notch 40,000 online mentions.

Burberry, was the next conversation throughout social media, worn by Naomi Campbell in a turquoise gown and actress Jodie Turner-Smith in a dress with 150,000 faux pearls.

Loewe was another prominent brand that also sponsored the gala and hosting the after-party. The brand was worn by 17 prominent guests including Anna Wintour, Greta Lee, and Ariana Grande.

The night was an extraordinary success that showcased many unique and beautiful looks on many A-list celebrities.
