Music’s biggest night was held at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, starting at 8 p.m. EST. Trevor Noah hosted the evening, that featured nominees SZA, Taylor Swift, and Jon Batiste.

The most notable event of the night was Taylor Swift winning album of the year for the fourth time in a row and proceeding to announce that she’s releasing another album called “The Tortured Poets Department.”

Celine Dion had also returned to the spotlight after three and a half years after being diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, a rare and incurable neurological disease. Dion presented the album of the year award and received a standing ovation when she walked out.

Miley Cyrus also took the stage and accepted an award for her song “Flowers.” Cyrus praised her collaborators and her mother Tish Cyrus but notably left out her dad Billy Ray Cyrus from her praises.

The best new artist award was honored Victoria Monet and used her acceptance speech to reflect on her journey in Hollywood. Monet was also nominated in seven categories.

Billie Eilish also accepted song of the year for her Barbie soundtrack “What Was I Made For.” Eilish also thanked Barbie director Greta Gerwig for “making the best movie of the year.”

Jay-Z accepted the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award during Sunday’s show and had his daughter Blue Ivy by his side for his big moment. Jay-Z ultimately said he was honored to accept the award.

Olivia Rodrigo performed “Vampire” as faux blood pours from her backdrop. Wearing a sleek red dress as her backdrop began leaking streams of fake blood. The performance had much of the audience on their feet including Taylor Swift and earned a rave of applause.

SZA accepts best R&B song, the artists got emotional as she accepted the award telling the crowd of her fellow musicians, “You don’t understand, I came really, really far.”

Tracey Chapman and Luke Combs performed “Fast Car” together on the Grammys stage, over three decades after the hit “Fast Car” first debuted.

Overall the night was filled with lots of success and showcased the achievements of many different artists and their hard work.
