October is a month devoted to fighting breast cancer, and the BASH Technology Student Association joined the cause.

By creating, and then selling pink t-shirts at lunch, they managed to raise $2,761.66, after expenses. The money will be presented to the American Cancer Society and TSA Nationals.

“I’m going to make one of those big Publisher’s Clearing House style checks”, said TSA adviser Mr. Joshua Pennington in an email announcing the success of the program. He also sent a special a thank you to one of our second shift custodians, who made a $100 donation.

TSA extends an invitation to help anyone else’s club who wants to participate in a fundraiser.
