BASH One of First Schools to Perform Jekyll and Hyde

Boyertown Area Senior High’s spring musical, Jekyll and Hyde, is in production and will run April 6th through 9th.

“Tickets will sell quickly, for we are one of the first school’s in our area to put on this blockbuster musical,” said Director and East Junior High School English Teacher Mr. Scott Didyoung. Tickets will be $12 a seat. They can be purchased online using a form on the school district’s website or in person Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 at the high school auditorium.

Winner of four Tony Awards, Jekyll and Hyde is based off Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.” It is a dark and dangerous love story about Dr. Jekyll, a brilliant scientist driven to find a chemical breakthrough that can solve some of mankind’s most challenging medical dilemmas. When he decides to make himself the subject of his own experimental treatments, he accidentally unleashes inner demons.

There is an additional ensemble made up of 25 people.
