Boyertown Girls Basketball overcame a slow start Friday night and claimed the program’s first PIAA Class 6A Championship over North Allegheny at the Giant Center in Hershey with 700 fans watching.

BASH Senior Abby Kapp scored 10 of the team’s 14 first-half points, but Boyertown was losing by 5 at the half. In the second half, Boyertown with a 46-35 win.
