On November 4th 2025 The Philadelphia 76ers took on on The Chicago Bulls in their 7th game of the season. The results of this game being 113 to 111, with the Chicago Bulls being victorious.
Prior to this game both the 76ers and Bulls both had a record of 5 wins and 1 loss each, making them tied for 1st place in the Eastern conference.
Following the results of this game the Bulls are now first in the Eastern conference. With six wins and 1 loss, with the Sixer’s now tied with the Pistons for second place.
The 76ers during the first quarter were able to start incredibly strong, coming out swinging with 45 points, resulting in a 24 point lead. With excellent shots coming from Tyrese Maxie from the 76ers and Joey Giddey of the Bulls. Each scoring 39 and 29 points each respectively.
During the middle of the game is where things started to shift in favor of the Bulls, the 76ers strong lead was slowly being lost. With the Bulls getting 29 points in the second quarter and 27 points in the third.
However, the final and most important shot of the game came at the very end from Nikola Vucevic, who scored a 3 pointer shot at the last second to win the game for the Bulls.
Many fans of the 76ers were disappointed by this defeat, as they’ve been having a very good start to the season, but most believe that if they keep playing as well as they have been they won’t have much to worry about in the upcoming games.
Ryan Christiansen a senior at BASH who watched the game live had this to say about it “I thought the game was going well, we were up the whole game so I thought the game was over going into the second half. I was extremely disappointed that we ended up losing the game, especially to a buzzer beater. The team has still been playing well and it’s just one game. We’ll be alright.”
Despite this loss, the 76ers are remaining confident and determined to win the NBA Championship this year.
