Students are confident that Nick Foles and the Philadelphia Eagles will defeat Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52, According to the Super Bowl Poll created by Bashcub.com.

Foles was also selected to be the game’s MVP ahead of Brady by approximately 30 percent. The last time that the starting Super Bowl quarterback who began the season as the backup won MVP was Brady himself in 2002.

About 400 students participated in the poll, which was taken the week before the game.

Of those polled, 17 percent selected the Patriots to win the game.

Oddly, only 50 percent of students said that the best part of the Super Bowl was the game itself, with the commercials and food splitting the difference.

More than half the students said they were not looking forward to the halftime show performed by Justin Timberlake, who last performed with Janet Jackson in Super Bowl 2004.
