Q. What school did you previously work at before coming to the Boyertown Senior High?

A. Junior High West

Q. What is your teaching background?

A. 7th grade science for ten years at Northwest Middle School in Reading, 7th grade life science at Junior High East for one year, and 9th grade Physical Science at Junior High West.

Q. What specific classes will you teach this year?

A. 11th grade academic chemistry and 10th grade academic biology

Q. Why do you enjoy teaching?

A. I enjoy helping people so teaching was a natural career choice. I love to see the “light go on” when students finally understand a skill or concept they have been struggling to understand, there is nothing better than seeing the slight smile flash on a student’s face when they finally “get it” or earn a good grade. I love learning new things and I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for learning. I like to listen to what students have to say and what is on their minds.

A. Branching out an using more of my science skills teaching both chemistry and biology

A. NCIS

A. Ariel,  the little mermaid

Q. Where did you grow up?

A. West Hartford, Connecticut

Q. What is your Favorite childhood memory?

A. Going to  Breakwater Beach on Cape Cod with my family

Q. How do you plan to contribute to the BASH community?

A. BASH has a fabulous group of science teachers, and I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work with them.  I want to contribute to the great work that has been done and help drive the science department to even higher levels.
