Philadelphia Eagles make it to the Super Bowl

Kelce brothers make history as they compete against each other in Super Bowl LVII

The Philadelphia Eagles make it to the Super Bowl after beating the San Francisco 49ers 31-7 on Sunday! In the first half of the game, the 49ers starting quarterback had to leave after an elbow injury. The Eagle’s defense team did not back down; Miles Sanders, Jalen Hurts, and Boston Scott, each scored rushing touchdowns. With this amazing win, the Eagles return to the Super Bowl for the first time since their 2017 victory!

Later that Sunday, the Chiefs beat the Bengals 23-20 making it into the Superbowl with the Eagles. It is now the Chiefs’ redemption after losing last year’s Super Bowl to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 9-31. This is also Chiefs’ third time going to the Super Bowl in four years.

The Kelce brothers also make history this season, as they are the first siblings to face each other in the Super Bowl! “My mom can’t lose” Travis Kelce tweeted. The brother’s mother, Donna Kelce traveled between Philadelphia and Kansas City to watch both of her sons win on Sunday. Now, she will see her sons face each other in the Super Bowl!

The Eagles take on the Chiefs in Arizona on February 12.
