The Bears won the Pioneer Athletic Conference Championship against Owen J. Roberts High School last night by a score of 6-3.

The Bears entered the playoffs this week as the top seed in the bracket, proving themselves in their dominant playoff run.

The stage certainly didn’t seem too big for Boyertown.

The first-seeded Bears were led by senior Captain, Owen Shepard, who scored one goal. Senior Jake Harmon had two goals, and Sean Sutterby, Jackson Novak and Ryan Kuhar also had a goal each.

“We’ve all dreamt of this, playing in our backyards since we were 6 years old, about being at the state tournament and winning the section championship,” forward Ken Ringler said. “It’s indescribable.”

The Bears had a dominant season with a 10-0-0 league record and of course, a PAC Championship.
