The class of 2025 trip to Orlando is coming up in just a few months, with seniors leaving on March 4th and returning March 8th. But before then, here are some upcoming events and things seniors should be aware of in order to be able to go on the trip with no problems.
On Friday November 15th, seniors attending the class trip met in the auditorium to discuss rooming details. Each room sleeps four, so students were to find three other friends to room with. If seniors going on the trip have not yet found a group of four, they should contact Mr. Fries or one of the class of 2025 officers.
On Friday November 22nd, seniors attending must report to the NAUD beginning at 7am to sign up for rooms. Students should enter through the athletic entrance, and they must have all roommates present in order to sign up. Students should bring their correct form of ID, if students will be 17 on March 4-8, their BASH student ID will act as their ID. If students are or turn 18 on March 4-8, they need a passport, drivers license, or a state ID.
Students should also bring their phone to make sure they are signed up for the trip’s Remind app, from which they will receive important updates as the trip approaches. Attendance for room sign ups on the 22nd is mandatory, the only exceptions being an excused educational trip, or a morning internship. If a student does have a valid excuse for missing room sign ups, they should report to Mr Fries in room 101 on Monday morning to ensure they are properly accounted for and still able to go on the trip.
Thursday December 5th marks the deadline for the final payment for the trip, paid online through World Class Vacations, like the previous two payments. The price for the payment varies for each student, depending on factors like how much fundraising the student did. Student’s guardians should have received an email from World Class Vacations regarding how much they owe for the final payment.
Students in the class of 2026 should also start thinking about their class trip, typically details about the trip for the juniors are discussed in April, along with the initial payment of about $485.
Seniors with any further questions should contact Mr. Fries in room 101, or one of their class officers.
