TSA Earns Money By Giving Back

A recent TSA fundraiser helped both the club and a good cause.

The Technology Student Association raised $970 by collecting 5,200 pounds of clothes from a school clothing drive benefitting The Salvation Army and Goodwill. The school earned 20 cents per pound of clothes collected.

TSA will use the money to help pay for transportation costs to the TSA state competition at the Seven Springs Resort
in Champion April 13-16.

“There are 30 kids and the money we raised will pay for about half of the cost, which is $2000,” Tech Ed Teacher and TSA Adviser Mr. Joshua Pennington stated.

TSA is optimistic about its chances at states.

“TSA is always ready,” Mr. Pennington said. “We are an award-winning machine.”
