School Store Open Again
The school store is open for business for the first time in three years and is packing a new punch this year with the sale of coffee each morning.
Students are able to come into the Spirit Lobby to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and can purchase a cup for a dollar. A variety of hot drinks are sold.
But there is more to the store than coffee. The store also sells Boyertown apparel, school supplies and other “cool merch” for great prices.
The School Store Advisor and Business Education teacher, Mrs. Krista Kuncio, has made a lot of positive changes to the store to make it appealing to students. Numerous new products have been introduced, such as school supplies and apparel.
Mrs. Kuncio says the mission of the school store is to create a great early morning experience with a friendly greeting and provide them with the materials they need to start the day with a bang.
Three students volunteer to work from 7 a.m. until the first bell. No profit is made from the store; everything is sold at cost as a service to students.
Suggestions are always welcome. Anyone who has ideas to improve the store, should let Mrs. Kuncio know. Suggestions students have made that will be introduced soon include selling Swiss Miss ® hot chocolate, pumpkin spice coffee and liquid creamer.
