The cold mist falling throughout the night didn’t affect the junior girls, as they put on a dominant performance, beating the seniors 28-22 in Monday night’s Powder Puff game.

It’s been a long time coming for the juniors, as they haven’t won in four years. Junior Morgan Kline reflected on the magnitude of the win.

“It meant so much to win this year because the juniors haven’t won in so many years. Our team efforts brought us together as a whole class,” Morgan said.

It was a close game at the end, with the seniors within a touchdown of winning in the 4th, but the junior defense managed to get a redzone stop as the clock expired, clinching the win. The huge play was the highlight of the game according to Morgan.

“The best moment was definitely the defensive stop to end the game, we all went ham to stop the seniors from getting the touchdown,” Morgan said.
