Last Friday, September 6th, BASH went up against Avon Grove and had an unfortunate loss. Even though the night didn’t end in a win, the team still did their best and gave the crowd an amazing night.
The night they started off with the team warming up and the band playing the National anthem. The little league football players stood on the sidelines shouting “Go bears go!” before the team ran onto the field to cheer them on.
Friday was also Gold out for Boyertown, which raises awareness and supports funds for child cancer. Everyone who could wear gold wore gold, even the mascot! Anyone who can help support funds for the treatment for child cancer can go to Childcancerfund.org, where anyone can help support children with cancer at any time.
The game unfortunately started off on the wrong foot where in the second quarter Boyertown was still losing at 0-14. but they did end up giving a good fight and the Boyertown bears eventually got the score to 24-28 Avon Grove still wining.
The Boyertown Bears put up a good fight against Avon Grove, but it wasn’t enough to win. They still gave their all and had the crowd cheering them on the whole night.
The halftime show was preformed by Avon Grove’s color guard and band and they did a fantastic job.
Even though the night ended in a loss, Boyertown held an amazing event for everyone to go to and it was definitely a night to remember.
