Tickets for the dance will go on sale this week, the week of September 23rd, and are on sale during lunch periods, 4-7. Tickets are 15 dollars and you must have your BASH student ID at the time of purchase. If you wish to attend, all obligations must’ve been cleared by September 20th.
This year’s homecoming court and nominees were voted for by the senior class. The candidates for homecoming queen are; Kaityln Buckley, Lillian Kerkuzs, Marlee Konnick, Katharine Mullins, and Victoria Munez. The candidates for homecoming king are; Dylan Andrews, Beck Babb, Chase Benninghoff, James Reifestahl, and Chase Yesavage.
The week before before homecoming, Oct 7th – Oct 11th, is spirit week. Monday is Groupfit day, Tuesday is Twin day, Wednesday is Decades day, Thursday is College day, and Friday is pink out for breast cancer awareness.
For decades day, which will be held on Wednesday October 9th, there will be different themes for different grades. Seniors and Juniors are 1980’s while Sophomores and Freshmen are 1960’s.
With Spirit week upon us, it is important to realize that school rules still apply, no matter what the days theme is. Boyertown’s 2024-2025 handbook states that “Excessively torn or ripped clothing that exposes undergarments and/or is revealing is not permitted”, “Costume-type attire including, but not limited to, tails, paws, character facemasks, capes, swords, etc. is prohibited.” and that “Hoods, hats, caps, bandanas, sunglasses, visors, sweatbands, and other head coverings are not permitted.”
Remember to vote for homecoming queen and king this week. The google form for voting was sent out to students via email Mrs Musselman. The slide show, which features every person nominated, can be found here.
