Stadium Repairs To Be Voted On
A timeline for the repairs of the Memorial Stadium have not yet been decided on, according to Athletic Director Mr. Palladino.
The School Board is currently gathering information on the design for the repairs, he said. Until a final vote goes through, nothing is set in stone.
Last year, the Memorial Stadium was closed due to severe water damage, deteriorated bricks and joint sealant, and displacement of spalls and bricks. Graduation was held at Santander Stadium with the bleachers being out of commission.
A preliminary report from Barry Isett & Associates cites a quote of about $2.5 million for the repairs.
Mr. Palladino hopes to have news on the Stadium repairs on or after October 23.
