Boyertown weather conditions for 5:51 PM according to the Weather Channel.

At 10:34 AM, Grade Level Principal for the Classes of 2020 and 2023 Mr. Andrew Maoury confirmed rumors of an early dismissal today due to impending weather conditions.

The remaining periods have been cut by ten minutes to push in seventh period lunch, ensuring an early dismissal at around 12:45 PM, at the conclusion of seventh.

Rumors stemmed from a tweet posted on the BASD District News twitter account at 10:18 AM.

“All BASD Schools: Dismiss 2 hours early,” the tweet read.

Weather conditions predict up to two inches of snow and up to two-tenths of an inch of ice. The Weather Channel has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 1 PM today to 10 AM Tuesday morning.

“PLAN ON SLIPPERY ROAD CONDITIONS. THE HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS COULD IMPACT THE MONDAY EVENING AND TUESDAY MORNING COMMUTES,” the weather advisory says.

Snow is expected to begin today, mixing later with sleet and turning into rain tonight, carrying into tomorrow morning. Rain will continue throughout Tuesday, “tapering off” Tuesday night.

Oley Valley School District issued an early dismissal earlier today, with students leaving at 11 AM.

“Use caution while traveling,” the Weather Channel warns.
