Veterans Day

Veterans+Day

Tuesday, November 11th, the social studies department continued its annual tradition of honoring local veterans with a Veterans Day celebration here at the high school. Veterans came into social studies classrooms to speak with students about their experiences serving our country.

Veterans also were invited for lunch during 5th period. During 4th period, veterans were in the library classroom, where teachers and students could meet them and thank them for their service. Students and staff were asked to show their support for our veterans by wearing red, white, and blue.
