Boyertown Bears take on Owen J.Roberts

The Homecoming game was a huge success! In addition to our 34-21 victory over Owen J. Roberts; we celebrated Breast Cancer awareness month and the crowning of this year’s King and Queen. The stands were filled with a sea of pink in every direction and our players and cheerleaders were seen wearing pink as well in show of support. Our homecoming court was dressed to perfection as they awaited the results of who would be our next King and Queen.

The team was glad to have Cade Sennott back on the field after a sprained ankle sidelined him during preseason. After being out of the game, Sennott scored two touchdowns for Boyertown with Cole Yesavage #9 adding a touchdown to the board and two more touchdowns from Jason Oakes #8 with one of them being the first touchdowns of the night.

To start off halftime, the color guard entertained the crowd with their amazing performance. After the performance, the Homecoming court came onto the field. All of the girls looked amazing in their dresses as they eagerly awaited to see who would be queen. Congratulations to Alyssa Albanese for being crowned Homecoming queen!

The next game will be a home game against Perkiomen Valley on Friday, October 21st.
