Volleyball Beats Spring Ford
The girls volleyball team beat Spring Ford Thursday. After losing the first set 25-23, it was a blowout, with the team winning three in a row to take the match. The scores were 25-15, 25-17 and 25-23. Highlights included: Junior Taylor Jones had 18 kills, 14 digs and 16 assists. Sophomore Emma Ludwig had 12 kills, 16 digs and 15 assists. Junior Emily Wolfe had 9 digs, 7 blocks and 9 kills. Junior Julia Smith had 15 digs. The win keeps the team in first place in their district. Fans who attended wore pink shirts for Pinkout, which raised money and awareness for breast cancer research.
