With the start of October rapidly approaching it’s important for all students and staff to remain in the loop of what is to come in the near future.
First up, on Thursday, October 2nd AP students will meet in the NAUD during Homeroom for an explanation of the payment process for AP and will be answering any questions students may have. Payments must be in by the Friday, 31st of October to avoid any late fees which would start on the 1st of November–as of that date, there will be a five dollar late fee per exam, and by the 12th the fee increases to $42 added per exam.

Friday, October 3rd BASH will host its annual pink out day for breast cancer awareness, students are encouraged to wear any piece of school appropriate pink clothing they have. This important tradition has been done for many years at BASH dating back to BASH first mini-thon in 2011.
Next, BASH’s homecoming dance game will be taking place the following evening on Saturday, October 4th, in the Bear Gym from 6 pm to 9 pm. If you wished to attend this event tickets must’ve been bought during the week of September 13th
Friday, October 10th picture retakes will be happening, students who are unhappy with their original picture or missed them on the first day can have a second chance. The picture retake form can be found here.
Monday, the 13th of October BASH will be closed for students so teachers can partake a day of professional learning.
Wednesday, the 15th there will be a half day for students so that seniors can present their senior presentations. This is important for all seniors to keep in mind as these senior presentations are required to graduate, failure to have this will result in disciplinary punishment.
There will also be a financial aid zoom meeting for parents and teachers on the 15th. Parents and students can attend a financial aid zoom meeting form 6pm to 7pm. This is important for students and family who may need extra help financially when choosing a college.
Friday, the 17th all junior students should have their Everfi assignments completed. These are required to be completed otherwise you won’t be eligible to graduate.
October is a busy month for students and we at the Cub hope you all meet it with success!
