Election Day 2022
Tuesday, November 8, is election day; voting for general elections is always held the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November, and Pennsylvanians vote for federal, state, and local officials. The big event this year will be the voting for the governor and senate seat.
For governor, the candidates are Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro, a Democrat, and Senator Doug Mastriano, a Republican. For senate, the republican candidate is Dr. Mehmet Oz, and the Democrat candidate is Lt. Gov. John Fetterman.
This is a very important election for Pennsylvania, so if you’re eligible make sure you go out and vote! The polls are open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, and you can find the polling sites here.
