On March 19th the Inter-Activities Council held their third ever meeting. The meeting time was used to for clubs around BASH to share any upcoming events their clubs are having.
Student Diversity Union is holding Culture Spirit Week from the 7th to 15th of April. Students who want to participate will dress in outfits each day that represent their cultures. Each days themes are as follows: Monday is positivity day, Tuesday is tourist day, Wednesday is sports day, Thursday is T-shirt day, and finally Friday is Flag day. SDU also reminded students that Culture day will be happening on the 15th of April and will be held in the Cub Gym the whole day. Students will go down as classes and learn about different cultures through booths set up by students.
The Class of 2026 Office shared an announcement as well, telling students who signed up for the cheesecake fundraiser that they would pickup their cheesecakes on March 27th.
Impact Club will be holding an earth walk on the track on Earth Day, April 22nd. Students will go out at any point throughout the day and take a walk along the track to appreciate our world through booths organized by different clubs.
Yearbook Club is asking students who haven’t already to fill out their teacher superlatives that were sent to them in an email on March 10th. Yearbook will also now be moving back to a class taking place during period 1 and run by Mrs. Diaz.
Student Council has sent an email to students regarding teacher appreciation week where they ask students to fill out a form. The form was sent in an email on March 7th and is due on March 28th. March 27th will also be epilepsy awareness day and Student Council asks that students wear purple that day to show support.
Finally SADD is hosting Safe Driving month in April, and students who show proof of their safe driving (through their license) will receive a lollipop.
