With the conclusion of the 2025 summer break, BASH has started its 2025 – 2026 school year and with it comes a whole flurry of changes and new rules for the staff and students.
BASH’s main focus for this school year is to limit the amount of students in the hallways and bathrooms during classes. BASH has implemented a color coated lanyard system with each classroom having two lanyards that coordinate to the hallway its located in. Each bathroom also has a set of hooks outside of it for students to place their lanyards as to limit the amount of students in each bathroom at a given time.
Students with each color are allowed to use each corresponding bathroom: White 100s bathroom, grey 200s bathroom, black 300s bathroom, yellow Cafeteria and Tech Ed bathrooms, Blue 700s and 800s bathrooms, green Locker Room bathrooms, pink 700s bathroom, red Cafeteria and 600s bathrooms, and purple may use the 700s and 800s bathrooms. Remember if all the hooks outside are in use you are to wait outside for another student to exit before entering.
In addition to these new rules just like with last year the school with be enforcing a strict Cell Phone Policy, students are to not have their phones or airPods/earbuds visible during class and are only permitted to have them out in between classes or during Lunch/Open Campus. (Not in the hallway or bathroom), If you’re caught using your technology it is an automatic write up and will result in an after school detention.
Open Campus is undergoing a change for its students this year. All students in it will report to the Freshman Auditorium (FAUD) with seniors getting the special privilege to spend their Open Campuses in the Library. Mr. Houck has entered the FAUD during open campus to provide information on what to do to change their open campus to the library. Seniors who choose to move to the library will also have their schedule changed to reflect this.
