Any objects from the collision had fallen into the Potomac river and a scan is being done to find any and all remains. The cause of the plane crash collision was believed to have to do with Air Traffic Control. Air Traffic Control has been short staffed for decades which may have aided to the confusion in communication. Some people even believe that because of the staff shortages, the staff that was working at the time may have been unqualified.

Everly Livingston and 48 year old parents, Donna and Peter Livingston. 3 Military personnel had also lost their lives in this plane collision; Captain Rebecca Lobach, Crew Chief Ryan O’Hara, and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Eaves were all people who served the country and lost their lives in this collision. 36 other victims also passed in the awful plane collision.
All of the deceased had lives outside of this plane collision. All of them were loved and cherished. Crew Chief Ryan O’Hara was a new father who left behind a wife and a 1-year-old baby boy. He had also served in Afghanistan. “I was worried when he was in Afghanistan,” his father said in an emotional interview. “You let your guard down … when he’s on American soil.” said his father.
Everyone who was involved in the collision lost more than anyone could have ever imagined and this is still being investigated as the National Transportation Safety Board tries to work to prevent this from ever occurring again.
