Life Skills Students Medal at Area Competition
Boyertown Life Skills students took second place overall in the Job Skills Olympics on Friday.
The competition was at Governor Mifflin High School. Students competed in tasks such as mail sorting, rolling silverware, counting money, assembly jobs, recycling, sorting, stocking shelves, and sweeping.
Each student competed in several events, which were scored based on accuracy and time it took to complete. Freshman Madeline Eidle finished 1st in her individual division for rolling silverware among a field of over 20 competitors.
“All students did their best and really shined!” Life Skills Support Teacher Mrs. Megan Bramble said.
