Senior Spotlight: Emma Wenerowicz
As the 2022-2023 school year ends, the Cub is sad to say goodbye to one of our Editor In Chiefs, Emma Wenerowicz. Emma has been in Cub all four years of high school and says she gained lots of writing experience- “the Cub really helped me improve my writing and introduced me to so many new and amazing people.” She says she’s going to miss first period when she collaborated and worked on whatever was needed.
In addition to writing for the Cub, Emma has been involved in the National Honor Society (NHS) at BASH, along with other clubs such as the Environmental Club, SADD Club, and Student Council. She also had the opportunity to have an internship with Mr. Hoffmanner, an English teacher at Middle School East, this year. Apart from BASH, Emma has been dancing for fourteen years, and teaches dance classes at her studio.
Following graduation, Emma is going to attend Penn State in the fall to major in secondary education, aspiring to be an English teacher, and is ready to take a leap toward achieving her goals.
Although Emma is looking forward to this new chapter she says she’s going to miss seeing her friends every day at BASH and that she has lots of good memories here at BASH, one of those memories being from her physics class. “[My friend Shaye and I] were not good at physics, to say the least, and that always made our lab days crazy and something to remember.”
Although we are sad to see Emma go we know she will accomplish many things as she embarks on her new chapter of life.
