31 Nights of Halloween is back!
It’s coming up on that spooky time of year again, and Freeforms 31 Nights of Halloween begins on Friday October 1st, and lasts all month long! It’s time to grab the pumpkin flavored treats and sit down every night to watch these spooktacular programs!
The 31 Nights of Halloween originated back to 1998 on the Family channel, now known as Freeform. The block was created due to the success of the channel’s 25 Days of Christmas, and was originally the “13 Nights of Halloween,” starting on October 19th, until Halloween night. But, starting in 2018, they started airing the 31 nights.
The programming includes short specials, current films, Disney, and current non-Halloween films. An average of 1.3 million people tune in, and one year Hocus Pocus drew a record near 2.8 million viewers.
So sit back, relax, and have a spooktastic Halloween!
