Graduation festivities begin!
On Wednesday, May 19, 2021, BASH seniors received their caps and gowns for the first time. They got dressed in them in homeroom and were told to head out the East Entrance to the stadium for the class picture. They got to hang with their friends while waiting in the long line to get into the stadium and be placed on the bleachers. This was the first time this class had an opportunity to be all together in over a year, and also one of the final times they would all see each other aside from graduation.
While being seated, the seniors were told the information for graduation and what they needed to do for graduation practice. They also were told that they need to keep all of their stuff for graduation together because there are no extras and if they lose the tassel for example, there is no extras.
When asked what she will miss about BASH, senior Ashley Rupert stated, “I’ll miss all of the teachers who took the time to get to know me over the years.” She also said that BASH helped her, “learn how to be persistent to get things done.”
Graduation will be held on June 4, 2021, at the Santander Arena in Reading, PA. This will quite possibly be the last time the Class of 2021 at BASH will be all together in a group. BASH wishes the seniors good luck in their futures!
