Homecoming 2020
Friday, October 23rd was Boyertown’s homecoming game against Upper Perk. We took the lead the first half but unfortunately ended up losing 42-14.
During half-time the top five homecoming queen nominees were walked down the field by their father’s as their future goals, hobbies, and info about them were announced over the loudspeaker. Among the nominees was Samantha Goffice, Dana Eslava, Angelique Bauer,
Mollie Goodrich, and winner, Paige Childs. This year’s homecoming queen winner, Paige Childs, was crowned by last year’s Queen, Alexa Walter.
Band and NJROTC were also finally allowed at the game, and marching band got to perform before the homecoming queen was announced. They performed their show the Jackson 5ive. NJROTC was there as well, but with only 10 cadets to raise the flag during the national anthem this game. The score at half time was Upper Perk in the lead 28-14.
The scoring throughout the game went as follows:
First Quarter: (B)Leo Egbe had a 25 yard run with Zach Foskey Kicking and (UP) Hunter Flack had a 2 yard run with him kicking
Second Quarter: (B) Jon Myers had a 21 yard run with Zach Foskey kicking, (UP) Logan Simmon had a 30 yard run with Hunter Flack kicking, (UP)63 yard Touchdown pass from Hunter Flack to Logan Simmon with Hunter Flack Kicking, and (UP) Hunter Flack had a 1 yard run with him kicking
Third Quarter: (UP) Logan Simmon had a 10 yard run with Hunter Flack kicking
Fourth Quarter: (UP) Logan Simmon had a 46 yard run with Hunter Flack kicking
