“Valentine’s Day never really meant much to me until now. I guess that’s because I finally have a girlfriend this time of year. She’s the same girl I liked last year and she’s been my best friend for a really long time now. Last year she had just broken up with another guy, and I saw how sad she was, so I wanted to be the one to change that. I bought her a big thing of chocolates and it definitely cheered her up, so it was a good start for me. Now it’s a year later and she’s my best friend and girlfriend, and I couldn’t be happier. Valentine’s Day was the first time I really put myself out there and went for it, and now it has shown me that things work out in time. I’m never gonna forget that.”
