Boyertown Raises $1,700 To Support 17 Strong
In late October, after a football game against Fleetwood, Berks Catholic’s #17, Anthony Myers, discovered something anybody would fear – Myers had a stage 3 malignant brain tumor. Across the PAC, schools have rallied alongside Berks Catholic to help raise money in support of Myers’ battle. Boyertown was no different, as students and teachers did their part in support of the 17 Strong movement, raising $1,649.20 to be donated to help cover Myers’ medical costs. While the total is impressive, Boyertown football coach Mr. Miller has plans of doing even more, as he plans to donate an additional $50.80, to raise the total to an even $1,700 donation for #17.
