Penn State Never Fails to Impress at Annual White-Out Game

Every year Penn State University makes one home game at Beaver Stadium their White-Out game. This is where fans and students wear all white, have white pom-poms, and cheer on the team.

This year, Penn State University took on Michigan University on October 19. 110,669 fans all packed into one stadium, chanting, “We are Penn State!”

In the first half, Penn State scored 3 touchdowns. By half-time, the score was 21-0, Penn State leading. However, in the 3rd quarter, Michigan scored 2 touchdowns which made the score 21-14. In the 4th quarter, Penn State scored one more touchdown, but Michigan answered back with a follow up touchdown.

There was no time left for Michigan to gain another touchdown. Penn State defeated Michigan University 28-21 in Saturday night’s prime-time game.

Quarterback for Penn State, Sean Clifford, shone bright, going 14/25, 182 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 17 rush yards.

This keeps Penn State at an undefeated record of 7-0, tied for first place with their rivals Ohio State University. Michigan now has a record of 5-2, putting them in 3rd place for college football.
