Steelers Rise From The Ashes For Improbable Comeback Win

The Steelers looked like their 5-game win streak was in significant danger as the Jacksonville Jaguars stifled their offense at every opportunity, shutting the Steelers out through the 1st half. The Jaguars picked off Roethlisberger 3 times, and it seemed the old Jaguars defense was finally back, and they would own the Steelers yet again. It seemed that way, anyway. Roethlisberger and the Steelers weren’t about to be embarrassed by the Jaguars again, as they mounted an unprecedented comeback in the 2nd half, scoring 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter to erase a 16-0 deficit and stun the Jaguars. With only 6 minutes left in the game, the Jaguars chances of winning rose to 97.7%, but Ben Roethlisberger wasn’t done. As the clock hit 8 seconds left, Big Ben dove into the endzone for the game-winning touchdown, quickly redeeming himself from a pitiful first half and shocking the Jaguars, who owned the Steelers last season. The Steelers improve to 7-2-1 while the Jaguars crash to a 3-7 record on the season, and the Steelers seem to have finally shaken their recent nemesis.
