I identify as agender, meaning I don’t identify with neither male nor female. I think it was 8th grade [when I discovered that I was agender]. I used to watch this YouTuber, and his one partner was agender, and this was when I was exposed to it. I was like, “Girl, no… boy, no… neither, yes.” Literally everyone who is not my friend [misgenders me], like teachers, my parents, and just people who aren’t my friend. Many kids in the school aren’t accepting of the LGBT community, so you have to be careful who you talk to. [One time], a few friends and I were at the park and we brought pride flags. Well, two kids came up to us and asked where they could buy flag shredders.
